Plate, in Chinese porcelain for export. Imari decoration, Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period (1736-1795). A refined example of export porcelain destined for the European market. Decorated with enamels over translucent white enamel, it displays a vibrant palette of cobalt blue, rouge de fer and gold tones, characteristic of the Chinese Imari style, influenced by Japanese tradition. The central composition is dominated by an exuberant floral arrangement, featuring lotus flowers, chrysanthemums and stylized leaves, intertwined in a harmonious ensemble. Gold and deep blue details add depth and sophistication to the design, contrasting with the warm tones of red and orange. The floral motif, which symbolizes longevity and prosperity in Chinese culture, reinforces the traditional aesthetic of the piece. Around the center, the rim of the plate is ornamented with a symmetrical pattern of stylized flowers and branches, distributed at regular intervals. Small decorative elements, such as arabesques and golden leaves, add a refined finish to the composition. The enamel application technique demonstrates great artisanal skill, with delicate brushstrokes and an impressive chromatic balance. This type of porcelain was produced in the renowned kilns of Jingdezhen, one of the most important centers of porcelain manufacturing in China, and exported to Europe to meet the growing aristocratic demand for exotic and luxurious objects.
