About the Item
Magnificent still life depictions of flowers adorn both sides of this fine antique porcelain plaque. It is set within a giltwood frame and stand, and there are carved details on the legs of the stand. The plaque can be tilted within its stand. One side of the plaque features a still life depiction of large pink roses and lilac clematis, while the reverse depicts pink carnations. This is a beautiful decorative piece and a fine example of English porcelain in the 19th century.
