About the Item

Late 19th century Meissen "Cube vase in Empire style" Square base, round base with a short shaft. Cube-like body, a pedestal at the top, round neck opening. Removable lid with lots of small holes, probably for flowers or perfume with a bud knob. Empire garland, fine fruit and vegetable painting, as well as landscape painting in purple Camaieu. Meissen, Würfelvase im Empirestil“ Quadratischer Sockel, runder Fuß mit kurzem Schaft. Würfelartiger Korpus, nach oben ein Podest, runde Halsmündung. Abnehmbarer Deckel mit vielen kleinen Löchern, vermutlich für Blumen oder Parfüm mit einem Knospenknauf. Empiregirlande, feiner Früchte,-und Gemüsemalerei, sowie Landschaftsmalerei in Purpur Camaieu.
