About the Item
This piece has been created by Lana Kova . In her new series "Waves" she explores the feeling of the ocean, its infinity and calming effect when we gaze at it.
The vessel was slip cast in a mold and then carved by hand in a green state(before the first firing) its glaze is light tan color.
Carving edge to edge is like looking at the photograph. There is a play with geometry here when a cylinder can be imagined as a rectangular painting in space.
It would work wonderfully in a minimalist home. Large opening can fit a big bouquet of flowers.
