About the Item

We kindly suggest you read the whole description, because with it we try to give you detailed technical and historical information to guarantee the authenticity of our objects. Valuable and particular served in fine French porcelain in Napoleon III style; it is composed of 12 cups with a plate, a milk jug, a sugar bowl without a lid in the shape of a small cup so that it can contain sugar cubes or cookies, and two round trays with handles; all objects were hand-decorated with graceful and soft garlands of colored flowers and finished with elegant and elaborate decorations in pure gold; the service was made between 1934 and 1936 by master craftsmen respecting the ancient traditions and the raw material (kaolin); “Porcelain de Paris” is a term that refers collectively to the various porcelain decorating workshops and studios within and around Paris, France. It is not the name of any single company or manufacturer and is usually applied to beautifully crafted objects produced between the mid-nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The makers are in some cases obscure and generally unknown or have created only a few rare pieces. Antique porcelain objects from Paris are the most desired by collectors and are present in many museums around the world. All items are in good condition, only the creamer has a slight crack (see photo). Measures cup diameter cm.8, height cm.7, saucer diameter cm.15, height cm.2, sugar bowl diameter cm.16, height cm.8, milk jug width cm.10, depth cm.7, height cm.13, trays etti each width cm.26, depth cm.23, height cm.2. For all our shipments we use special packaging materials (wooden crates, styrofoam, etc.) for maximum protection and safety of the objects.
