About the Item
Bring color and charm to your walls with this exquisite pair of antique decorative plates. Crafted in Paris, France circa 1870, each hand-painted porcelain platter features a lively seaside scene along the coast of Brittany, depicting fishermen and women gathering shrimp and mussels against a tranquil maritime backdrop. The scalloped rims are delicately outlined with gold gilt, and each plate is signed Francis on the front and stamped "Martin Paris Grenelle" on the reverse. Both pieces display exceptional artistry and a rich palette of colors, beautifully preserved in excellent condition. Wired on the back for easy display.
