Royal Copenhagen, Denmark. Chocolate jug in porcelain. Classic chocolate jug in porcelain with hand-painted blue underglaze decoration in the well-known Blue Fluted pattern. Elegant curved form with profiled handle and spout, decorated in fine symmetry. Marked underneath with Royal Copenhagen’s waves for first quality, green factory stamp, shape number 1/482 and painter’s number 60. Lid marked with painter’s number 17. Material: Porcelain Dimensions: H. 23 × W. 17 cm Signature / mark: Royal Copenhagen waves (first quality), factory stamp, shape no. 1/482, painter’s no. 60 (jug) and 17 (lid) Period: Ca. 1890s Condition: Excellent condition with minimal signs of use A distinguished example of Royal Copenhagen’s classic blue-painted porcelain, produced in first quality during the late 19th century, representing the finest craftsmanship and artistic excellence.
