About the Item

Set of twelve hand painted oyster plates (pale blue and pink) by Joseph Schachtel, Sophienau. Octagonal six well, exquisitely hand-painted plates. Elevate your dining table or walls with these unique, small pieces art! Marked with the Schachtel Eagle over J.S. and numbered 1775. JS used this marker between the years 1887-1919 (Germany). Shallow 2cm chip to underside rim of one plate.
