A scarce Edwardian Wedgwood and Co. Ltd, England, delightful hand painted China figure of the Puppy Seller.
A rural male figure with a characterful face dressed in a country tweed jacket with a bright shirt and neckerchief, and wearing a peak cap. In his arms, he is holding two puppies which he is temptingly offering for sale. At his feet, there is a wicker basket with their sleepy siblings.
This rare figure is in perfect original condition with no restoration.
