About the Item
A fine heavy brown salt glazed jug with embossed decorative bands with linear swags and rosettes around the shoulder. A small top opening and handle with pinched end for the thumb when in use. Some irregular glaze spots that are original to production. Circa 1850 to 1899.
Dimensions: H. 15", Diameter 10”.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age include minor scratches, flakes and pottery imperfections consistent with age and use mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is Rustic and authentic.
