About the Item

Creamware English pottery pair of botanical 18th-century dishes, Neale Pottery. The oval dishes are a rich creamy color painted in the interior with a rose stem with an open rose and a rosebud. Around the inner well is a band of finely painted gilt stylized leaves, which is repeated on the outer rim where it is flanked by two red-brown lines.
