French terracotta confit pot. Traditional large earthenware pottery confit pot from South West France with yellow glaze. This vessel was used from the 19th to the mid-20th century to conserve food. The handmade nature of these pots makes each one unique Very decorative. Good patina and bright yellow color. Good antique condition Please note: a chip on the neck of the jar followed by a small crack (see photo). These marks of use are not structural and therefore do not weaken the object.
