About the Item

This 19th century Italian pharmacy or apothecary jar has a white glazed exterior and hand painted cobalt blue wreath-form encircling what would be the label to identify the contents. Chips, cracks, and loss to the glaze as expected for the age and type of use. The sophisticated shape would be beautiful in a bookcase or can be used to hold fresh or dried floral arrangements.
