Late 19th century Royal Doulton, Lambeth, London stoneware jug. Molded, applied handle smartly decorated with faux screws acanthus leaves. Around the body hounds give chase to a stag with hunter on horseback follwing beneath charming vignettes - men enjoying their ale, windmill weeping willow tree. Beautifully shaded browns. Also called harvest jugs. Old rim chip. 7.5" x 7" x 9" h. We are a family business that has been a major source for the selective buyer for over 90 years.
