About the Item
From an extensive collection of studio pottery we are pleased to offer this fine abstract form studio pottery mug by Cornish based potter Paul Northmore Jackson dated 1993. The mug of twisted square shape has a rounded base and flat strap handle with a curled end and is brightly painted with underglaze colored designs both to the outer and inner body and to the handle. The designs are a personal style inspired by French, Italian and Islamic designs. The mug has an incised signature Paul Jackson below the handle and is also dated 93 for 1993.
In excellent original condition.
