About the Item
Vintage hand-painted vases of beautiful shape with deer stag figures instead of handles from the famous Belgian brand H. Bequet.
Very nice example of porcelain artist Hubert Bequet, this hand painted vase shows an artfully portrayed deer stags with green field and gold accents. The bottom is stamped and the mark is clear and legible.
Great set and would look wonderful on a mantle or buffet!
The Belgian manufactory “Hubert Bequet” was created by a talented Belgian ceramist who began his career with Auguste at the manufactory “Auguste Mosin and Co.”
Hubert Beko located his manufactory in the outskirts of Quaregnon and began producing his products in 1934.
Hand-painted objects, vases, jugs, teapots immediately gained recognition all over the world due to the successful combination of bright colors, original shapes and hand painting.
The factory was sold in 1978 and this manufactory no longer produced its luxury interior items.
In good condition!
No chips, cracks or repairs.
There is a partial loss of gilding on the handle of the vase - in accordance with the age of the item.
