From Sarreguemines, a charming Majolica glazed green cabbage leaf shaped small vide-poche, France, circa 1930. Shaped as a single dimensional cabbage leaf. Precise mold work, with a strong green glaze that pools into the deeper areas of the mold. Footed with a curved and serrate rim. In the rarer small size, perfect for nuts, lemons, coins, or as a spoon rest. 5 in. L x 4 in. W x 1.25 in. H Marked: Sarreguemines France, with the mold number 531P, and the letter M, signifying a majolica glaze. In beautiful vintage condition.
