This exceptional antique George V sterling silver pint mug has a bell shaped form onto a circular spreading foot. The lower portion of the mug is embellished with impressive applied alternating strap work designs, each ornamented with bud designs on a matte background. The body of this large silver mug is further encircled with an embossed girdle in addition to an applied moulded border to the upper rim.
