About the Item
Fancy and elegant is what these say to me! The knife blade is etched with a fantastic elaborate design and the fork has a smaller matching pattern. There is a band around each piece with sterling sliver hallmarks and the maker's mark of CB for William Beatson
Sons (Charles Beatson) and the h date mark is for the year 1900. Only the band is sterling silver but William Beatson
Sons is the maker of the entire piece.
The knife is 12 inches long and about 2 inches wide at the widest point and the fork is 9 inches long and 2 inches wide. They both have scratches and signs of use and wear, I do not know what the handles are made of they look like plastic and have some age discoloration and cracks.
