About the Item

19th Century English majolica handled dish in the form of a lily pad with a trailing vine handle terminating with rose and yellow colored flowers. Dimensions: 9" x 9" x 1 3/4" H Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age and use include two glaze pops on bowl surface, minor flea bites and wear around the rim, one faint hairline off the rim on verso, discoloration visible on verso, old chips around the foot (some glazed over and original to production). Despite the wear the Plate retains a colorful and admirable presentation.
