Circa 1880s Egyptian Revival revolving hunt tureen, English. With inner pans. Exceptionally fine; the decoration employs papyrus chased lion paw motifs. Ivory insulator button. Also useful with ice for shrimp, etc. Marked "Warranted Hand Soldered" mark of the Army and Navy Cooperative Society, Westminster, London, after 1871. 13 7/8" w., 9.75" d., 8.25" h.
