About the Item
Cheese or Butter Dish, Brass and Glass, and Goat Finial. 19th c probably French and was used for butter or maybe goat cheese. The brass has secondary engraved decoration. There is a partial incised makers mark, see photos. The blue glass liner has age crack but has not been repaired or broken.
