About the Item
1960s large Teak Lazy Susan or revolving tray with 5 stands by Flemming Digsmed for his company Digsmed Designs of Denmark. The center tray with great staved Teak construction and rounded edge is 8 3/4 inches diameter. The bottom 4 trays are carved from one slab of teak and have cutouts for placing serving dishes.
Stamped on bottom: DIGSMED logo - 002 - DANMARK
Condition: Very Good. Minor wear consistent with age and use.
Measurements: 15 inches square x 17 inches diagonally x 6 inches high.
Digsmed Woodcarving was a Danish company that produced high quality household items. The owner and designer was Flemming Digsmed some creations included salt/pepper sets, spice racks, Lazy Susans, serving trays, ice buckets and many other teak products. Digsmed closed in 1975.
