An exceptional, fine and impressive, unusual antique George V English sterling silver mustard pot made by Omar Ramsden in the Arts and Crafts style; an addition to our collectable silverware collection. This exceptional antique George V sterling silver mustard pot has a plain spherical form to a broad spreading foot. The surface of this silver mustard pot has a planished finish, with an applied band to the upper portion. This fine Omar Ramsden silver mustard pot retains the original hallmarked domed hinged cover surmounted with a moulded thumbpiece. The foot of the mustard pot is embellished with an applied rope twist decorated border in junction with the body, in the classic Arts and Crafts style. This exceptional silver mustard pot was crafted by the collectable and renowned silversmith Omar Ramsden and bears the Latin engraving 'Omar Ramsden Me Fecit' - Omar Ramsden made me to the underside; mustard pots crafted by this renowned London maker are exceptionally rare. This impressive example of antique silverware is supplied with an associated hallmarked London sterling silver Fiddle pattern spoon.
