About the Item
Whimsical Los Castillo silver hummingbird creamer, lidded sugar bowl, and matching ladle, handcrafted in Taxco, Mexico, circa 1960s. Each vessel is accented with finely detailed hummingbird finials inlaid with iridescent mother of pearl and brass beaks, mounted on elegant hammered silver forms. The ladle features a sculptural floral finial and completes the set.
Creamer Pitcher: Marked Los Castillo, Taxco, Hecho en Mexico, TA-01, Plateado, #290; measures 6" high × 3.25" wide × 3" deep.
Sugar Pot with Lid: Marked Los Castillo, Taxco, Hecho en Mexico, TA-01, Plateado, #290 and #17; lid numbered #174; measures 5 5/8" high × 3.25" wide × 3" diameter.
Ladle: Matching design, marked, measures 4.25" long × 7/8" wide, with floral finial detail.
