About the Item
A fine handmade Jasperware Blue and white Coffee Pot by Wedgewood. Silver thistle finial Lid. Primarily blue and white colors with classical figures on one side holding the gorgon’s head and one holding a sword and sheath and floral patterns. On the reverse is a figure made with a lyre and one woman with her arm attentively leaning on a column listening to the music. Created in England circa between the 1825.
Attribution mark for “Wedgewood: on the bottom. A sticker is present on the bottom reading £1128 3672.”
In very good condition.
This lovely Jasperware piece can add a vibrant color to any interior.
