About the Item

This is a fantastic fine quality silver plate inkwell in the form of a standing lion with a crown on his head and is holding a shield. The shield is engraved with someone's initials which can probably be ground out and covered with a pattern or can be left as history. There is some denting around the base but otherwise the figure is in good condition with the expected tarnish etc. Unfortunately I do not have the liner that fits inside the opening which is about 1 inch in diameter. There is an English Registry mark on the back of the base but it is very hard to read. Thank you for visiting The Moody Carpenter and Please let us know if we can answer any questions.
