About the Item
This exquisite and desirable pattern was designed for the Columbian Exposition held in Chicago in 1893. The nations of the world joined with America to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Columbus' discovery of America. This beautiful and unique pattern features a stylized dolphin on the handles with a dragon-like tongue with the tail wrapping around the handles.

Overall good vintage condition with some surface scratches as expected with age and some blade and bowl imperfections (as shown). The pieces have varying monograms and some pieces are not monogrammed. This set will be lightly polished and sealed in plastic sleeves prior to shipping.
