This is a large antique presentation tray. An Egyptian, silver plated afternoon tea serving platter in Art Nouveau taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900. Substantial tray with a charming Art Nouveau decorative appeal Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order Quality silver plate presents a bright, reflective finish Chased foliate detail accentuates the rim edge and shaped handles Engraved with an appealing flowerhead pattern Egyptian export mark to the reverse Good weight in the hand at 3.536kg (7.795 lb) This is a charming antique presentation tray, graced with generous size and an attractive Art Nouveau taste. Located in Hamilton, Ontario

This large antique silver plated serving tray is signed by an unknown maker and presumed to have originated from England and dating to approximately 1920 and done in a Victorian style. The outside rim is decorated with a leaf and flower motif and accented by the diamond pierced sides, and scroll worked handles. The surface of the tray is engraved with stylized leaves and flowers and the tray is hallmarked on the back and identified as 'Sheffield Reproduction'.
