About the Item
Late 19th c English, S/P Tray Marked EPNS with a Standing Lion Passant Inside a Circle, and Made in England. The beautiful cast border with leafage and shells surrounding an engraved interior with vines, grapes, flowers and a chiseled background. Because of the grape motif the tray was probably intended to be used as a wine waiter. The tray is raised on 3 blister feet.
