About the Item

This set of three antique Sheffield plated covered tureens are unsigned, but presumed to have originated from England and date to approximately 1820 and done in the period Georgian style. These matching tureens are done in a heavy Sheffield plate with a stylized floral motif decoration. The serpentine lids are monogrammed and the handles on each can be removed for ease of storage.
