A vintage silver plated copy of Benjamin Franklin's tankard made by the renowned Philadelphia silversmith, Elias Boudinet in celebration of the Bicentennial in 1978 The original tankard, dating to 1760, is on display at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. This copy is authentic in every detail bearing the Franklin family coat of arms in intricate scrollwork and the initials BDF for Benjamin and Deborah Franklin. A true collector's piece, only a limited number of these very rare copys were made There is no mistaking its unique quality and design, which is sure to make it a treasured piece by any discerning collector.
