About the Item
A fine Mexican silver plate and malachite toast rack.
By Emilia Castillo, daughter of the renowned Taxco silversmith Antonio Castillo of Los Castillos.
In silver plate.
With a silver spiral rack mounted on scalloped, hand-hammered tray. Both ends of the spiral rack terminate in a figural lily pad device with a carved malachite frog.
Marked to the base (on a corner).

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There are some noticeable scratches to the top of the tray and some wear to the high points of the hand hammered tray. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine
light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
