About the Item

Vintage English Sheffield punch bowl tray. The punch bowl is hand chased with repoussé images of a bounty of fruit and flowers and a cast gadroon edged rim. The domed foot of the bowl is chased with the same repoussé design featured on the body of the bowl. The bowl is assembled with a Sheffield tray featuring an engraved floral motif and a rim design of cast grape grapes leaves. The underside of the tray is fitted with three hemispheric feet. Stamped on the underfoot of the bowl: Silver On Copper, Made In England Sheffield, England, first half 1900's. Dimensions: 15-1/4" W x 9-1/4" H (bowl) 18" W x 1-3/4" H (tray)
