This exceptional vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver mustard pot has been realistically modelled in the form of a barrel. The body of the mustard pot is embellished with bands of tooled decoration outlining the features of the bilge hoops and quarter hoops. This impressive vintage sterling silver mustard pot retains the original plain hallmarked hinged cover, surmounted by a plain lobed thumbpiece. This impressive example of vintage silverware is fitted with a scrolling handle. The underside of the mustard pot bears the retailer's mark 'Garrard & Co Ltd, 112 Regent Street. This exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian sterling silver mustard pot has a cylindrical form with a plain circular spreading foot. The body of the mustard pot is embellished with pierced decorated conjoined scrolling designs, accented with four chased decorated masks anchoring pensile drop fruiting arrangements. The upper and lower rims of this mustard pot are ornamented with applied, moulded thread decorated borders. This fine Victorian silver mustard pot retains the original hallmarked hinged cover surmounted with an impressive cast silver finial and leaf decorated thumbpiece. The surface of the cover is encircled with further chased decorated fruiting arrangements on a matte background, and incorporates a scroll bordered vacant shaped cartouche to either side. This fine example of antique silverware is fitted with an impressive cast opposing scrolling handle. The mustard pot is fitted with the original removable clear frosted glass liner.
