About the Item

Antique early 19th Century George III impressively centerpiece. The sculptural cast stem modelled as two young cherubs sitting on a tiger supporting an intricately cut glass bowl. The lion, depicted with detailed and realistic fur, bitting onto the clothing of one figure, the centerpiece is supported by a shaped base. Their garments are styled to resemble floral foliage. Hallmarked English Silver (925 Standard), London, year 1811 (Q), Maker RP (Robert Peaston). CONDITION In Great Condition - Wear expected with age. Please refer to photographs.
