This exceptional antique Edwardian silver cream jug, in sterling standard, has a circular rounded form. The surface of the jug has a planished finish in the Arts & Crafts style. This impressive Birmingham silver jug is encompassed with an applied moulded border to the rim of the body and spout. The jug is fitted with a plain sterling silver stylised C-shaped handle. This sterling silver cream jug has four cast Arts & Crafts style pillar style supports terminating with square swept feet. Condition This antique Edwardian silver cream jug is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition. The surface of this Edwardian jewelry box is plain and embellished with two applied sterling silver balls to the anterior convex arched surface, replicating the details of the draw handles. The original hallmarked hinged cover is plain and parallels the shape of the body, opening to reveal the original segmented velvet interior. The weighted base of this exceptional antique box retains the original leatherette covering to the underside.
