About the Item
Two elegant, festive silver centerpieces on a round, stepped base, bordered by a garland of leaves with a cross band on the lower rim and an egg-bar frieze on the upper rim, on top a fluted column piece with a fancy capital, crowned by a projecting bowl with a lamellar opening which is continued in the upper area, rhythmised by a circulating festoon, a garland of leaves with a cross band as the upper finish.
Matching flat jardinière over an oval ground plan on four pyramid-like stepped low feet, narrow surrounding panel over an egg-bar frieze, above a lamellar opening with a rhythmic festoon and a garland of leaves with a cross band as the upper finish, corresponding to the decoration of the two centerpiece bowls.
All vessels with inserts of cobalt blue glass.
