An exceptional, fine and impressive, large antique Victorian English sterling silver goblet; an addition to our collection of wine and drinks related silverware This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver goblet has a circular bell shaped form onto a knopped stem and circular spreading foot. The body of this large silver goblet is embellished with bright cut engraved suspended leaf festoons accented with ribbon bow motifs and interlacing swags. The decoration to the body incorporates a large oval vacant cartouche to either side. The upper portion of the goblet is encompassed with bright cut engraved interlacing and scalloped borders below an applied moulded rim. The knop to the stem is encircled with a bead decorated border. The foot is ornamented with further bright cut engraved simplified leaf festoon decoration accented with a scalloped border to the rim. This exceptional antique Victorian silver goblet, in sterling standard, has a circular bell shaped form onto a knopped stem and circular spreading foot. The body of this silver goblet is embellished with bright cut engraved foliate and floral festoons suspended from ribbon bow motifs. The upper portion of this sterling silver goblet is encompassed with bright cut engraved layered leaf decorated border. The foot is ornamented with further bright cut engraved simplified leaf decorated border, reflecting the design to the rim. Condition This antique Victorian silver goblet is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The goblet has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. The bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp.
