About the Item
An American two-piece sterling silver hollowware carving set - pattern and maker unknown, circa 1930s.
The knife has a stainless steel blade, the fork has a swing support to keep your table linen clean by raising the tines. From a Philadelphia estate, the handles are very faintly engraved with the scrolled capital initial ‘G.’
Heavy weight, both pieces are marked sterling on the collars.
Measures: Knife: 14 in. L x 2 in. W x 1.25 in. H
Fork: 11.5 in. L x 2 in. W x 1.25 in. H
Very good condition - light wear and unpolished patina.
