An exceptional, fine and impressive, rare antique Edwardian English sterling silver and wood bridge marker; an addition to our diverse silverware collection. This exceptional and rare antique Edwardian sterling silver bridge marker has a heart-shaped form. The original carved, stained hard wood base is embellished with an impressive applied hallmarked motif realistically modelled in the form of four splayed playing cards: one of each suit. The heart-shaped base features a handpiece to the upper portion, ornamented with a secondary silver mount displaying an engraved heart encompassed with scrolling leaf decoration.
