A fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver bon bon basket; an addition to our diverse ornamental silver collection.
This impressive antique Edwardian sterling silver bon bon basket has a flared waisted form onto a circular spreading foot.
The well of this silver basket is plain and unembellished.
The body of the basket is embellished with pierced stylised spindle decoration accented with an applied bead and spindle decorated border to the flared shaped rim.
This Edwardian sterling silver basket is fitted with a double bead and spindle decorated bifurcating handle, with a feature interlocking loop to the center.
The foot of this antique basket is ornamented with a pierced decorated vertical pale border.
