This magnificent, fine and impressive antique George VI cast sterling silver presentation piece has been realistically modelled in the form of a dog's head*.
This specially commissioned, life-sized dog's head ornament is embellished with details representing the canine's fur and anatomical features.
This large silver animal ornament is fitted to the original circular-shaped copper base ornamented with a naturalistic texture.
This exceptional trophy is the finest of the type you could hope to acquire.
* With the natures of the long snout and short coat, it has been determined this dog's head replicates the features of a greyhound or whippet; however, there are other variants which may be applicable.
Condition
This antique silver and copper dog head trophy is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
The cast decoration is all very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the dog's head are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
