About the Item

A classic Antique George III Sterling Silver Half Pint Mug with a traditional tapered cylindrical form. The Mug has a spread foot and a acanthus leaf topped scroll handle. There isa small crest engraved opposite the handle. Of a suitable size as a gift for an adult but also suitable as a christening mug. Made in London, England in 1786 by Hester Bateman. Approx. Weight - 242g / 7.78oz Approx. Height - 10.4cm Approx. Width incl Handle - 11.7cm Approx, Diameter of Base - 8.8cm This Georgian 1/2 Pint Mug has full English Hallmarks.
