Antique Louis Kuppenheim Silver and Rubies Cat Vanity Compact
Magnificent antique German minaudière in solid silver adorned with a silver cat engraved in deep relief on the front of the box, with the cat's back on the back lid. The cat is encrusted with precious jewels, including rubies, in its eyes and on its neck, decorating its collar.
The interior has two compartments in the front lid and a single compartment in the back, with a mirror on one side of the hinged lid. It comes with its original pencil.
Made in Pforzheim, Germany, circa 1900 by Louis Kuppenheim.
