A scarce and elegant pair of antique silver-plated Rococo-style candlesticks by the renowned Swedish silversmith C.G. Hallberg, crafted in Stockholm, 1937. Each piece is exquisitely pressed, cast, and chased, featuring C-curves, latticework, rocailles, floral tendrils, and decorative cartouches — hallmarks of the Rococo revival aesthetic.
Standing on circular, curved feet, these candlesticks display a finely balanced silhouette with a harmonious interplay of curves and ornamentation. They have been scratch-tested for silver and retain a beautiful luster, reflecting the exceptional quality and artistry synonymous with C.G. Hallberg, the former Royal Court Jeweller of Sweden.
Each measures approximately 18 cm in height, 10 cm in diameter, and 9 cm in depth, showcasing superb craftsmanship and elegant proportions. Their rich decorative surface is a tribute to early 20th-century Scandinavian silver design, combining classical beauty with timeless sophistication.
In beautifully excellent condition with only minor age-appropriate scratches. Upon request, the down velvet base can be replaced with a new one after purchase.
