About the Item

A fine antique waffle server. In sterling silver. By Reed Barton. In the 'Le Six Fleurs' pattern. Designed by Charles A. Bennett. The shovel or bowl retains traces of its original gilding and has a cursive 'MB' monogram to one side. Fully hallmarked to the reverse. Simply a wonderful, rare waffle serving piece! Date: Early 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: It retains some of its original gilding to the bowl or shovel and there is some light edge wear. Otherwise, there are some fine light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
