A magnificent, fine and impressive pair of antique European silver cow creamers; an addition to our continental silverware collection These magnificent antique cast 13 löthige silver creamers have been realistically modelled in the form of a bull and a horned cow, each in the style of 18th century creamers. Each creamer is embellished with Fine details reproducing the details of the bull/cow's hide and facial features. The back of each piece is fitted with a hinged shaped cover encompassed with floral decoration and surmounted with a finial modelled in the form of a fly/insect. The bull and cow's tails function as the creamer's handle. A fine and impressive antique George III English sterling silver helmet shaped creamer made by Peter and Ann Bateman, an addition to our Georgian silver teaware collection. This fine antique George III sterling silver cream jug has a helmet shaped form onto a pedestal with a circular spreading foot and plain square base. The upper portion of the body is ornamented with a broad band of bright cut engraved irregular undulating decoration. The body of the jug is embellished with a pin struck and bright cut engraved decorated shield shaped vacant cartouche suspended from a stylized ribbon design. The rim of the body is encompassed with an applied reed decorated border. He surface of the square base is embellished with further bright cut engraved and pin struck leaf motifs and simple paralleling border.
