About the Item
A lovely Antique Sterling Silver
Glass Playing Card Box in a rectangular form standing on 4 feet. Each of the 4 side panels is inset with a glass panel, behind which is a different face playing card including a King of Spades, a Queen of Hearts, a Queen of Clubs and a Jack of Diamonds. The Playing Card Case has a hinged lid and its interior holds a black spring loaded liner with space for three decks of cards.
Made in Sheffield, England in 1904 by Walker

This Playing Card Case is in very good condition on the exterior with a working pop up interior. There is minor cosmetic wear to the interior pop up liner commensurate with age and use.
The Card Holder has a Full English Hallmark on the Base and is part marked on the lid.
