An unusual Antique Victorian Silver
Etched Glass Claret Jug featuring fern leaf pattern etched onto the glass body and the silver banding on the body and neck. The Jug has a stylish tapered straight sided body and a domed lid with a stylised shell shaped thumb piece.
Made in London in 1865 by Thomas Hall.
Approx. Height - 25.5cm
Approx. Diameter of Base - 11.7cm
This Victorian Claret Jug has a full English Hallmark on the Neck and part marked on the lid.
This Claret Jug is in very good condition. The exterior is in excellent condition but there is some minor cosmetic wear to the interior lip as shown in the images.
